RetroGames: F-16 Multirole Fighter, a combat simulator you must try
NovaLogic was a videogame development company known for releasing different great action and war games like Delta Force, Joint Operation, Comanche and air combat simulators such as F-16 Multirole Fighter. NovaLogic disappeared in 2016, but it has let a legacy and I tell you about this unforgettable game.
F-16 Multirole Fighter will allow you to choose between several free missions and a campaign mode. There you will have to put into practice your attack and defense skills, either in air-to-air or air-to-ground combat. At the same time you can equip the aircraft's armament to your liking, being able to have great advantages in combat if you choose correctly.
In each mission you will be accompanied by another F-16 which will be your combat partner and you can dictate instructions that will allow you to develop attack or defense strategies. At the same time you will have other groups of allied aircrafts that will act on their own against the enemy, so you will not be alone.
Although you will take control of an F-16 only, the enemy aircrafts are quite diverse; You will have the chance to look at them in detail while flying, through different camera options offered by the game, of course while you are at a safe distance and you can leave your aircraft parked on the runway or flying on autopilot.
F-16 Multirole Fighter is not the only air combat simulation game developed by NovaLogic, so getting other titles allow you to enjoy different missions, and flying other aircrafts with important differences in terms of maneuverability and armament capacity. These games are:
I hope you liked the post and you decide to try this great game, I still got it on my computer. Below there’s a video where you can see what I’m talking about
- F-22 Lightning II (1996)
- F-22 Raptor (1997)
- MiG-29 Fulcrum (1998)
- F-22 Lightning 3 (1999)
Remember, to fully enjoy F-16 Multirole Fighter you must have a Joystick. This gaming device will allow you to control the aircraft in a better way and at the same time you can experience even more realistic gameplay
That does indeed look intriguing, especially the inner layout of the plane!
I've actually been doing some "historical" gaming posts lately, covering noteworthy games released in certain years (just made two about 93 and 2000) and simulators (especially well done ones) are among my favorite types of games.
This simulator is amazing, i really enjoyed. Cool i'm checking your videogame posts, they are pretty interesting, you talk briefly about a lot of old games.
