So this is your first post in my feed because I followed you just yesterday. I now know that I should have done it earlier.
Still as I was reading through your post I realized something crucial - not so much as realized but actually remember. The ability to persist is probably the most assured way to take yourself to your destination everytime. I think that in some part of ourselves we do realize this, and sometimes even as we fold, we can see that this was the moment that we lost the prize. All that was needed to be done was to carry on. At that moment it might be a relief off the pressure but the hurt of it is due for us afterwards.
PS: That must've been something - To win after 40 losses :-)
Yea I was really relieved! I think it would eat at me till this day if he would have left after like game 35 and I would have never known if I could beat him lol To this day why I will often let people play against me a number of times. Also thanks for the follow!
