Zombie Adventure - Game 13 - Day 23 (Jan. 19, 2018)
Anyone can now type "@steempunknet roll" into a reply and have a result in minutes by refreshing your browser.
There is now an additional CZ-550 in play and there could be more axes found now that the deck has been depleated and reshuffled.
The SW button seemed to do nothing when it was first pushed. The SE button raised the back end of the bus after it was pushed. The button on the East side, but more towards the N. seemed to do nothing after it was pushed. The button at the NW corner has been pushed and player 5 confirmed that the front end of the bus had been raised. (The back end of the bus and the front end are now raised.)
Objective: Find and recover the record book from the abandonned city. Only one player need leave the city with the book to win the challenge. (This game is using TELEPORTERS, requiring just 1 action to enter and be moved.)
Players turn from day before:
(4) justatouchfey [bat, rifle, Molotov] Fails to kill the Walker to the East twice, then succeeds.
(1) pandorasbox [rifle, axe] Move East and North. Fail to kill the Runner to the West.
(6) hasnain06 [bat, gasoline, CZ-550, torch, CZ-550] Moves South, S, S.
(2) aussieninja [rifle, axe, gasoline, torch] Move South, East and teleport to the Northern building..
(3) rayne122 [CZ-550, torch, x-bow, Molotov] Kills the Walker in the Western spawn zone. Searches and finds a x-bow, gasoline and flour but takes only the gasoline and combines it with one of the torches to make a Molotov.
(5) safat [pistol, axe, Molotov] Searches the bus to find nothing. Stays put.

search the bus if anything found take it
You're so nice for commenting on this post. For that, I gave you a vote!
THANKS A LOT
Player 5
Action 1: Search the bus. Roll 6 = success! You found a pistol. Since you already have one and nobody else needs one, you leave it there.
Player 6 has an extra CZ-550 that he might give you, so it may be worth it to move closer to Player 6.
Actions 2 & 3: Move South twice?
and then some more of
I'm confused with the buttons and car. New job draining me from energy.. someone else has to do the thinking I fear.. I will slay the zombies instead!!
Player 1
Action 1: Chop at the Runner with the axe. Roll 6 = success! Sliced it open like in the gif!
Action 2: Fire at the Walker to the West. Roll 2 = fail.
Action 3: Roll 2 = fail. (Oh no... you need to get more rest. This new job is killing you!)
I know...! And worst thing is, it's a terrible paying job too! I'm still poor! :P
But it is a fun job at least so that's something
Are you able to say what it is you are doing? Retail is generally a lot of work for little pay, but it's often not that much fun either.
I can tell a little bit! I take care of sales & marketing for a foundation whose goal it is to help people out of welfare programs and into long-lasting jobs that fit with them.
But my job is mostly fun because I get a lot of freedom - I get a budget and a goal and now it's my job to make it so. I don't have a work place at a fixed office, instead I work from home or am on the road driving to municipalities and such.
edit: Oh and it pays little because it's a new foundation. It's my job to sign up more municipalities and make more money for all of us too
Yes, that job sounds very exciting. It is almost like you are a part owner. Great to know that the ultimate goal is to help others who are in need.
Yes, it really is! The director of the foundation is of the same age and she used to be an entrepeneur, launching startups, etc. And this foundation is the next enterprise, really. I got hired because of my background, because I was an enterpreneur myself not too long ago. So my job really is the same as if I owned my own company, except I only take care of the outward business.. The actual jobcoaching is done by somebody who does operations. I get to acquire new customers and territory.. all of the challenge, none of the hassle :)
Move N,E,S
@steempunknet
this is the right account to tag, but make sure you put roll after it
No reason to roll with 3 moves.
Since N,E,S is impossible, how about you give player 5 one of your CZ_550's?
Player 6
Actions 1 & 2 Move East twice.
Action 3: Trade player 5 a CZ-550 for the pistol and throw the pistol away.
@steempunksnet
Alright, I'm going to attack the walker not direct E, but two spaces E with my rifle. Does it work that way? Skipping a square with a zomb in it?
Player 4
Yes, you may target a square beyond one with something in it (but in this case it was killed by P2 just before you) anyway.
Action 1: Use rifle to shoot at the Walker in the Eastern spawn zone. Roll 5 = success! The Walker collapses like a rotting bag of meat.
Action 2: May as well try for the Walker in the Western spawn zone while you're in the killing mood. Roll 5 = success! You bagged it!
Action 3: Skip it and stand guard?
Yeah, I'm going to skip it and wait. On guard!
Move E, N and N.
Why isn't anyone checking under the bus ?
The bus has been searched. There is nothing to be found UNDER the bus (just the jacks that are making it move up and down).
Player 3
uses 3 actions to move to the bus.
I think when an area is searched you don't have to specify exactly where to search... and Player 5 just searched the bus and found a gun.
Makes me wonder if it's a counterweight or something...
Looks like you are right ! :D
Move East
Move South
Fire on the Walker directly East of Player 4.
@steempunksnet roll
no 's' in steempunknet
You're calling the steempunknet account to roll, even if the steempunksnet (the stats bot) answers. There are two accounts completing the function :3
Haha, you know I actually changed it to add the 'S' in? I was confused by the roll by Steempunksnet that came from this post.
Thanks for your help... I'll get there eventually.
@steempunknet roll
You rolled a 2
Hmm... maybe they both work? That 3 must have been of the 's' account...
You rolled a 3
Too late! Besides, my 4 is a kill and a 3 is a miss! Killin' is more better! LOL
I didn't realize there were 2 accounts with slightly different spelling. Thanks for pointing that out @justatouchfey!
The site has been slow yesterday and it is worse today! I'm not seeing any steempunk treasure chests today and it took 4 tries to make one response go through. The dice bot may not be working either, so I'll roll manually unless it shows up in the next few minutes.
Player 2
Actions 1&2: Move East and South.
Action 3: Fire on the Walker directly East of Player 4. Roll 4 = success! You bagged yourself a Walker!
Yeah! Wahoo!
I was so bummed when I saw the 3 in my Replies... but this is heaps, heaps, heaps better!
Yeah!!
You betcha!!!!
You guys are so skillful I may need to double the spawn rate! MORE to kill!!!!
But naw... you need a bit of a break to solve the riddle.
Riddle me this Batman: How do you find that book?
I was thinking about that... we might need some time to sprint around the map seeing what affect the different buttons have.
We find the book by searching the right place at the right time.
The right time will be dependent on the buttons.
Question... if the bus is lowered, can we climb on top of it?
Surely the bus would be raised to either access something below it or something above it.
And then there is the mystery of the other two buttons...
You really have created a fantastic game... I'm so glad I attacked you in Steempunk.
I'm glad you attacked me too. And perfect timing as well! Seems the other player wasn't all that interested in killing zombies and solving puzzles. You showed up at the perfect time to take over the character.
To answer your question: For this scenario there is nothing above or below the bus that is of interest or will in any way alter the game play. You will know exactly where the book is once the puzzle is cracked.
Trivia: I forgot where I had put the book and had to make it visible so that I could make sure it was in fact where I had thought I put it.
Apologies if I'm asking questions that you've already answered in an earlier game...
To find the book will a player have to search that square, or would a player notice the book if they passed through that square?
Once the puzzle is solved, everyone will see the spot marked with an X on the map. The game will essentially be over once you solve the riddle. One team member will have to go grab it and get out of town alive. Then I'll need to think up a new puzzle for the next game!
You rolled a 6
EVEN in quotes, the bot picked up the command from the initial post and did a roll.
