Stardew Valley is a farming simulation game based on relationships and building up your farm. It can be bought on steam here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/413150/Stardew_Valley/
Stardew Valley became an insanely popular game as soon as it came out. With an overwhelmingly positive rating on Steam and countless fans around the world, Stardew Valley became a well-loved game in record time. With multiple gaming dynamics packed together, it could be a great game for everyone. These features include farming (plants and adorable animals), foraging, fishing, relationships, mining, and combat.
I love this game because it's so relaxing. When I'm stressed, one of the best things to unwind with is Stardew Valley. There's no rush to do anything, and seeing your farm advance and grow is very satisfying. The music makes the overall mood of the game happy and bright, it fits the graphics very well and is a cherry on top to a wonderful game. However, if you want a game that will make your blood pump, Stardew Valley is probably not for you.
A major part of Stardew Valley is the relationships. Somehow, it's fun to become friends with virtual characters, and you feel like you really get to know them. There are also events that happen with every character as you gain friendship with them, which makes them seem more realistic. You can also marry some of the townspeople. Your spouse will do chores around the farm for you sometimes, which is really helpful. One place this is lacking is in the children. You can have children with your spouse, but they're pretty useless. They don't do anything except for run around and get in the way. Perhaps this feature will be improved someday.
Overall, Stardew Valley is a fantastic, diverse game. If you love games like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon, you should try it out!
