Doomfist Overwatch

The latest addition to the Overwatch roster is a long-rumored, long-awaited baddie. And the era of Doomfist is beginning in style, complete with a dazzling animated short film.

Whereas Overwatch's animated extras tend to be CG, Doomfist's 2-minute intro is a traditional 2D-style animation, featuring a 3-on-one fight where the Talon leader takes on Winston, Tracer, and Genji.!

Doomfist (real name Akande Ogundimu) has been a teased character ever since the very first Overwatch trailer dropped, with mentions of him scattered throughout supplemental materials. Players can now take the cybernetic offense character for a test drive on public test servers.

He looks like he'll be causing some serious damage with attacks like Seismic Slam, Meteor Strike, and -- something to warm any anime fan's heart -- Rocket Punch.
