RE: Move Over Sega: Taito's Sprite Scaling Arcade Games of the 1990s

Battle Shark is the only game I've ever heard of that was a submarine shooter, lol. Though I'm not sure if it's exactly what I would expect when gearing that kind of genre since it's got that shooting gallery POV. I'm kinda surprised we haven't seen a few more games that take place in a submarine, though maybe they are out there and they're just really obscure.

There's the superb 'In The Hunt', from the same team that did Metal Slug. But that's a sidescroller.

Oh, neat! I think a game using a submarine as the character/weapon would work good in a sidescroller, considering fighter jets and other military vehicles work pretty well in that same design. The screenshots I'm looking at on google make it look like a fun little shooting sidescroller anyways!

You don't have to upvote it, but you should go drop a comment on my recent AskSteemit post, bro. You've got so much knowledge and experience with video gaming, that I'm sure you must have a cool tale or two to talk about which I would love to read :) (Sorry if that came off as spammy, but you definitely are one of my favorite people to talk about games and consoles with on here, haha.)

I would but I've come down with something and feel totally drained.

Ah, no worries, man. I'm just in a talkative mood, which is unfortunate since it's almost 12:30am here, lol. Hope you feel better soon, dude!
