Stellaris Dev Diary #92 is here

in #gaming7 years ago

So, the latest Stellaris update, which can be found  here was just recently announced, which also pushed forward the removal of the various types of FTL, as well as more strict galactic terrain generation. While i have mixed feelings about the removal of wormholes as well as standard warp, I do rather like the idea of more tactical locations, provided they ever fix the stupid fortresses to not be weaker than a bag of wet paper, What do you all think of this change?

This was a bold decision on the part of the devs. I wasn't too happy about it, initially (and still believe there was a missed opportunity here), but it makes a lot more sense in the broader context (i.e. the dev diaries since).

Did you ever play Distant Worlds: Universe? They had FTL interdiction that was a lot of fun to play with. I kinda wished Stellaris had headed in that direction, but I understand the decisions they've made.

Congratulations @daikael! You received a personal award!
