Bloons Tower Defense Official Website Released
As the release of BTD6 is approaches, Ninjakiwi published a website specifically for BTD6! They have never done this before, Bloons Tower Defense 6 will no doubt be "more awesomer" (Ninjakiwi's Slogan). Most importantly, there are so much more information and teasers released. The new information are organized below. Happy reading! :)
New Monkeys
BTD5 had 21 different towers, but BTD6 only has 19. Since there are two new monkeys in BTD6 (Druid & Alchemist), four monkeys from BTD5 were removed. It's sad to see them go....
New Maps
There are currently 20 maps in BTD5, but it's much more complicated. Everything is in 3D, this means obstacles can block the line of sight. Don't forget that Ninjakiwi will constantly add new maps.
New Tower Upgrades
In BTD5, there were only 2 upgrade paths and upgrades go up to tier 4. But in BTD6, there are 3 upgrade paths and upgrades go up to tier 5! Tier 5 upgrades will be so OP that only one monkey can have it at once.
Monkey Heroes
Heroes are a completely new concept, and only one can be placed in each game. They will each have 20 signature upgrades and two activated abilities. Talk about OP! The four images below are the new heroes available in BTD6. Which one is your favorite?
Deep Monkey Knowledge System
There will be over 100 meta-upgrades for each monkey or monkey groups. This will make gameplay so much more strategic and late games to be even more fun!
New Bloons
There will be three new bloon types: Purple, Fortified, & B.A.D. Beware......
New Game Modes
For each map, there will be an extra selection of game modes. Players can now choose to play with Restricted Monkeys, Double Health, MOABs, or CHIMPS rule.
Play Offline
There is an option to play single player offline, it's perfect when you don't have access to wifi. Of course, this means there will be an option to play online. I hope Co-op games are back.
