[GAME REVIEW] DAYZ standalone, My impressions after the new updates
First off what is Dayz?
Dayz is a pvp based zombie game, That is still in alpha and has a lot of bugs and glitches.
As of today the game is in the .62 branch. The game has come a long way but needs some serious help. When taking a trip to the games reviews on steam the game has 77% negative reviews, Most of the reviews are individuals that had a bad first impression. Dayz is very intense at the pvp, hearing the slightest sound of a gun shot in the distance gives you the shakes. When playing Dayz you tend to get very aggravated at the smallest glitches. For instance, when holding a gun in your hands and preforming the eat action on any food your gun has a tendency to fall on the ground and disappear. Dayz actually has implemented many vehicles including V3S, Offroad Hatchback, Civilian Sedan, Transit Bus.
Graphics
The graphics are not to bad, running through the world of Dayz you see some screenshot worthy areas. You will find oceans, cities, ponds, forest, and even small rivers. Buildings have vibrant colors and forest have different types of vegetation, You will encounter many graphic glitches.
Zombies and Animals
Zombies are very glitchy, are hard to hit, and are very annoying. Animals are passive and don't attack, unless it is a wolf like I ran into.
Guns and Loot
Guns can be found in military bases up north, Encampments, Farm building and so on. There are many types of guns the best are found in heli crashes, which are rare. Ammo is definitely the hardest things to find, looting many building and rooms you |find your first ammo hooray you say, only to realize that there are only three bullets...
Community
Every one you meet are going to hostile unless you scream friendly over and over into you mic like me and you can make some friends like I did in this picture.

Not at al a zombie survival game , just a insanely bad balanced pvp debacle running on a Arma 2.5 engine filled with frustrated cod kids .
It's no fun , takes 8 hours to find some gear only to get shot by some lame sniper cod ass , witch puts you back on the beach in your underwear .
I stopped playing when the def's stated that there never where zombies , just some infected . Truth is , the engine dos not support zombie hordes .
Defs left this game to die .

Honestly is not that bad, a 10 minute run north and you can get all the gear you want. Spawning in and not knowing what your doing is why your having such a bad time.
p.s. calling someone a "cod ass" makes you seem stupid.
I didn't play for a long time . the forced coop zombie survival that they promised to make , is never gonna happen . And yes for an open world pvp survival game , it's not that bad . Back in 2014 loot , weapons the most , where very hard to find . After a 8 hour search , having a full gear with m4 , getting killed by a sneaky sniper , well it's no fun , but yes i should have known better . No problem there . The times i re spawned on the beach , with nothing on me , that some dude shot me from the woods , just to many . To me the way the community behaves in DayZ is as far from reality as possible . You got to like that reality i guess , just not my kind of game .
And sorry about cod ass , psychopathology trolling manic i should have typed ;-) . Not all COD players are like that . your Wright i must not use stereotype's , it could offend someone .

And lol , i didn't have bad times , just a lot of fast bad endings , again and again . Hi ! i am friendly , Hi , me 2 ,....... BLAM BLAM .... . Still , if the loot and weapons are better present now , it's not a game i like . It forces me to become like al other gamers in DayZ . I prefer a game like No more room in Hell , where coop is essential to survive .

DayZ , in early access alpha for 3.5 years now ...... your decision to never try out early access , saved you a lot of money and time ( me 171 hours ) on dis one ;-)
