League of Legends, League of Legends, League of Legends, League of Legends, League of Legends Part 1
This morning I went to the the tax office to submit some papers. Unfortunately, I needed to went in the public toilet and I heard something what I shouldn't hear.
I heard two homos in the public toilet and they were talking about something disgusting loudly! It was really an undesirable experience.
If you're curious what are they talking about,I'll give you a hint. It's about a boy.Yeah just a boy.
Today I'll be talking about League of Legends. Recently, I've been bumping into people in the Steem space talking about LOL and we did had some good conversation about it. You see, I've been playing MOBA's since I was in high school, maybe 10 years ago. During that time, DOTA was the only MOBA game.
If some people see this post as something invasive in their game philosopy, please do remember that I just wanted to guide some people who were kinda lost in how they approach the game(only LOL to be exact).
Skill sets needed
If you're a total starter in LOL, you should always be aware that there are some skills needed to be successful in the game. This skills require some practice, so don't be hard on your self .Just enjoy the game and try to do some changes on how you play.
Last Hitting Minions is Everything
In a MOBA game like LOL, last hitting minions is a common task. You go in a lane, and last hit the opponent minions with you're skill or normal attack. Actually this task is way easier in LOL if you compare it to DOTA 2. Base damages at level 1 in LOL are high enough to last hit creeps decently and on the top of that minion armor isn't that high compared to DOTA2.
AP champions like Annie, Oriana and Karthus have good skills in last hitting minions efficiently, I suggest this champions to beginners who practice last hitting with Ap.
Annie has her Q that is mana and damage efficient.
Oriana has this long and high damage normal attack that most AP champions don't have(it is caused by her passive ability). But please beginners, please be aware that Oriana is not an entry level champion, so try it out first before purchasing this champion. What makes Oriana an advanced level champion is the limit of AOE and range of her abilities. On the top of that, the ball's range isn't that really far and her movement speed is also not that great.I only suggest Oriana for practicing last hits for beginners.
Karthus on the other hand is one of the easiest champion in being efficient in taking minions. Even if Karthus is completely out powered in it's lane, most of the time it can still get all the minions because of the low cool down, very high range, high damage of it's 1st and the very low mana cost which is only 30(I think, maybe it's changed now).Another factor that makes Karthus good is it's E's mana ability which give Karthus mana whenever it kills a unit.
For top lane, I suggest Dr. Mundo for his "Q" that is also efficient in range and cost.(I would not suggest Yasuo and Zed cause they are so cancerous, top champions should most of the time be tank)
For ADR, any ADR would do because almost all ADR have around 60-70 base damage at level 1(with runes and masteries included).I suggest Corki,Caitlyn and Ezreal, cause they were my favorite during those times I'm still playing.
Proper Champions to be You're Main Champion
One of the things you should consider in playing LOL is having main champions in you're champion pool.
LOL, compared to DOTA 2(again) is easier to master. In DOTA 2 , you need to master every hero(which I do), unlike LOL were you can just choose to pick 3 practical champions in every role and you're done.
These were my main champions when I was still playing:
AP: Brand, Annie, Karthus
Top: Dr. Mundo, Renekton and Shyvana
ADR: Corki, Twitch and Caitlyn
Support: Janna, Annie and Leona
Jungle: Rammus, Amumu and Nunu
Picking champions for their main is a thing most people(in the lower bracket) do wrong, they pick impractical champions like Zed, Yasuo, Tryndamere, Master Yi ,Teemo and many more. These champions have strength in them, but my God, you should at least understand what these champions are before you pick em.I also use these champions but I only do them as situational picks.
Example of a main that is really wrong is Zed. People hyped this champion because Faker used him to win the third Worlds Championships along with his team mates that used Zyra, Vayne(the fuck this champ is another cancer), Jax and Lee Sin.
The thing is, wanna be players pick these cancerous picks without knowing any science within them. Man, I'm no biologist nor botanist, but I make good tactics.
Let's go back with Zed. Zed has really high base damage , have good bursts and have several escape tools. When Faker played this Champion, people went "wow" with Faker's skills of playing this champion. Faker's use of Zed is really indeed impressive, but man, please remember that Faker is a professional player in a professional team with his professional team mates. They practiced and studied these champions to make em work.
Let's look at what Zed really is...
Zed is a ninja that throws physical shurikens and casts a shadow that also throws shurikens which are also physical. Zed also have his third that is melee which also damages physically and his ultimate that doubles every damage that Zed has made on it's target a few seconds ago nad a few seconds after the ulti has been made.
Can you see the problem here? Everything this boy is doing is just doing physical damage which ADR's do! If you pick a Zed for mid, you already gave the convenience of having just armor for you're opponents(assuming that your top laner is a tank). If you pick Zed for top, you're team will suffer for having no tank in you're team.Jungles and supports can tank too, yes, but not as committed as top lane.
On the top of that, Zed's ulti can be dodged with Zonya's hour glass, which is another common item for AP mids. All Zed has in the end is just it's combo that is really very easy to avoid and counter. These show offs, picks this champion for the very reason that they want to show people that they can kill with that combo or can escape with Zed's multiple escape tools.
Just to give you more sample, let's talk about Vayne, another cancer in the League. Vayne is an ADR with little range and have no other projectiles other than it's normal attack.
Do you imagine how hard it is to support a Vayne every time a fucking cancer first picks this shit . That cancer just gives the opening for good burst picks such as Annie and Corki(which I do believe will kill her several times till he or she quits).
Vayne is so vulnerable to bursts and it's support, most of the time, fails to protect Vayne cause of how committed this Champion is during clashes and skirmishes.
That is how SKT made these Champions work, they're strategy was very aggressive that everyone commits at the same time which they've practiced many times.
This post got longer than expected, better cut it for tomorrow...
Hahaha I posted it unfinished by mistake.
Well, I'm sorry about that, I better use this hackmd.io someone suggested me to use.
Please do support me by resteeming, upvoting, following and leaving a comment...
