PUBG Mobile Update Released, 0.13.5 Beta to be Precise

You either love it or hate it but PUBG Mobile is still going strong. With this latest update there are a few things worthy of mention. These changes tweak the game just slightly and add some fun elements. Hardcore fans will like these and new to the battle royal game will probably get involved quicker.

First up is the new weapon appearing in PUBG Mobile 0.13.5 Beta update – the submachine gun, a PP-19. This bad boy fires 9mm ammunition and comes with a 53-round magazine. Finally, something that can use up all that 9mm ammunition you find on the maps. Unfortunately, the PP-19 does not support magazine upgrades. 53 rounds is what you get and that is the maximum.

It does support all scopes from the Red Dot Sight to the 6x Scope as well as muzzle attachments other submachine guns can use. Apparently single shot damage carries a value of 35 and has a rate of fire similar to that of the UMP.

There is one catch though

The PP-19 is only available in Erangel or Vikendi. That sucks for gamers that love one of the other maps, but well tough. You can’t win them all.

The ranking system that is sometimes suspect in PUBG Mobile is getting an update as well. Apparently now the weight of kill points will be considered when ranking players. This could be a good thing for players that are able to pull off those hard to get “head shots” or tricky kills (like using an in-game object). This means that those with skills may finally see a fair bump in their rank over those that just “spray and pray” in competition.

PUBG Mobile Season rewards abound

The season interface is getting a slight update to be more intuitive and tiers bring more rewards. Season 8 outfits are available at the Gold tier and Diamond tier players can unlock weapon finishes. Those that reach Crown or above get special team-joining effects and name tags. Reach Ace or above for permanent season title. Rewards are now going to be delivered to players automatically at the end of the season.
