StarCraft 2 Game is Now Free
Blizzard finally made the expected move. It is now possible to play Wings of Liberty for free.
From now on, you can play the award-winning, real-time strategy game Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty for free.
As Blizzard's announced campaign today, players will be able to play Wings of Liberty, the first screenplay part of Starcraft 2, for unpopulated matches and popular co-op mode. It will also include all the balance updates.
Blizzard CEO and founder Mike Morhaime on the subject made the following explanations:
'StarCraft 2 is one of the most admired PC games of all time and we are excited to see more people playing. With the gigantic Wings of Liberty single player scenario, endless co-op mode and map generation tools, StarCraft 2's real-time strategy experience is now completely free. "
As you know, Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty, along with two more expansion packs: Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void. You still have to pay extra for these, but if you already have Wings of Liberty ready, you can get the Heart of the Swarm for free until December 8th. Starcraft II: The Wings of Liberty had gone out seven years ago and was supposed to switch to a free system. Wings of Liberty, which is always a popular e-sports production, is likely to further boost the player base with this Blizzard action.
