Apparently ATLAS is the first game from Instinct Games since Ark.

Ark: Survival Evolved was a very anticipated game from all around though it didn't live up to its expectations.

Since this will be the first game since Ark, it better be good!
(At least we hope so)

Now... about the LAUNCH

The launch of this game was a bit messy. It used to be "ready to launch" in early access for about a week or two, but it still hasn't been released yet (despite the original launch date of Dec. 11)

Now, if that wasn't bad enough just wait until you hear about the Twitch Livestream.
On Dec. 19 the Developers of ATLAS set up a Twitch livestream counting down until the release of ATLAS. There were over tens of thousands of viewers.
Unfortunately for them, nothing happened at the end of the countdown. All they did was respond with this tweet:

And, Finally... The game itself

Let's adress the image above, this is taken directly from the developer's page.

If you look closely you can see a very close resemblance in the graphics. It almost looks like 2 screenshots from the same game. If I say so myself, thats a bit of a giveaway.

Also, according to these Steam reviews, the game itself is running from Ark:

Laziness, and rushed development

If I were you, I would stray from buying Atlas for a bit (even if you want to get it), as the price will (most likely) drop dramatically.
