Every now and again you play a game that's so fantastic that you just want to tell everyone about it, especially if it's one of those little indie gems that tends to barely make a blip on the radar before going under the waves of new titles.

For me, Risk of Rain is just such a game. Created by a duo composed of a computer science and art student, Risk of Rain is a platform shoot 'em up with RPG elements. Namely, you gather items as you open chests and shops using the money you get from defeating enemies. More in the video.
