Cryptosaga is set to be an RPG living on the ethereum blockchain, the first of it's kind to have full character and mob animations.
Currently in it's character pre-sale phase, it's still in it's early stages of development but looks incredibly promising.
The first blockchain game to my knowledge being created by developers with previous experience in the mobile gaming space, the Korean development team - Fire Shrike games, have a solid developer background, releasing numerous games on the app store:

Gameplay

In their opening medium article, the developers described some of the gameplay aspects that will be included in CryptoSaga: Medium Intro Article
The main focus of the game seems to be hero development, and the use of your heroes in fully animated Dungeons and Arenas, supported by a solid Guilds system seen historically in games found on other platforms such as mobile, console and PC.

Hero packs are currently purchasable from the games' store, the initial 'Origin' Cards have an 85% chance of gaining a heroic hero, and a 15% chance of gaining a rarer legendary hero. Origin cards should be ready to redeem for heroes by Feb 15th.
As things stand heroes seem to all have individual values, or more commonly known as IVs, this means each hero will be unique, with some even of the same character becoming stronger than others:
All heroes are ERC-721 tokens so in theory should be available to buy and sell on token trading sites like opensea as of launch date.
Heroes seem to be a requirement to play Crypto Saga, so i'd highly recommend getting your hands on a couple during pre-launch for a potentially reduced price.
