Whoops, I gone and broke the self promotion rule on Reddit. oh damn.
I guess I am an immoral and reprehensible individual.

I swear I did actually read the Op and simple just did not see the one line where it clearly stated.
Do not link your own games, no matter how great you think they are.
Not realizing that one line was listed there I went ahead and made a post talking about Revulsion.
So anyway I kind of responded harshly not realizing the op actually did say not to do this. But on that note. WHY DOES THAT RULE MAKE ANY FUCKING SENSE? regardless I went ahead and deleted my posts.
I could have just got @cyberdemon531 to make a similar post and it would have been fine? Like literally everything else fit the bill perfectly for Revulsion to be listed.
One of the things I find very deplorable about reddit is the self promotion aspect. Its absolutely immoral to silence someone for stating something so simple and pretty fucking true. It wasnt like I was off topic. You could have taken the op and literally just struck that one line out and everything would have been dead on accurate.
Revulsion is an unusually well crafted indie game that may never break 2000 sales. Its pretty damn true people!
But no I am not allowed to talk about something I worked on. I must get someone else to do it for me because reasons. Reddit is such a terrible place. Its sad I spend so much time there. I just felt like putting this on blast because of how dumb it is lol.
Like seriously, fucking really? No care at all if what I said is true or not. NO
Mr Castle you have to go through the proper channels to self promote on this overly censored platform. So dumb!
edit : added more to the talk
I think that rounds things out a bit. Ok I have to admit that my original post was kinda crap. Though I wasn't really expecting that it would be held to any kind of examination. I was more expecting the response to sit at 0 upvotes and fall into the ether of the internet to be honest lol.
Well seeing as games take quite some time to develop, I really see no harm in self-promoting your hard work. Who's gonna promote it if not you, right?
Reddit mods cant change a premium if everyone is allowed to talk about the things they are doing. Basically.
Anything related to gaming on reddit is too toxic for me. ( source: r/MMORPG )
Reddit in general is cancer. Not just any one sub. 4chan has turned into that, too...
Yeah, you're prob right..
4chan gets a lot of falloff from reddit. Its pretty obvious that the anti EOS fud is coming from that direction.
I left 4chan during the 4th Exodus of 2014. From what I can see, nothing of value was lost.
As it stands right now its still the best place for crypto news and sentiment. Its also filled with scams though. sheesh. LINK doesn't seem like its going to be a good coin guys. Sorry.
lol if you want I can like just re-post your message verbatim haha
I don't want to go on record for asking you to do it. Honestly the disussion blossomed in a pretty ideal way. Not only did a few people agree with me but I was successfully showered with down votes for proposing a perfectly valid argument.
Something like that makes me very happy because it shows a mob mentality being poked and reacting like a blind immune system.
This right here will be very beneficial if I get this guy to bite and trash my game. It means he was forced to look at it. Which means he will bring more attention to it. All I have to do is politely ask for explenation for criticism of the game. If he proposes valid critisism then I gain value. Good feedback is always welcome.
But If he proposes a bunch of weird dumb things I can leverage for more details and force the conversation to continue. Then I can drag this on while he drags himself through the mud to give me more attention. Which can also possibly make me look like I am the victim of random slander.
I hope he bites. Its win win if I can get him to.
Haha, fair point. Definitely hilarious and the lengths people go to to scream and cry and whine about things that don't even really affect them at all is incredible.
I honestly do get the vibe that I poked a borg collective lol... And lets be honest the rule is fucking dumb!
Omg the reddit can be true cancer sometimes, especially if it comes to selfpromote it can go mental in matter of seconds lol
