thanks for your input! i have to disagree a little there because during mario era particle effects didn't exist 😆
i feel like visual feedback is important, for every detail. i tried to make the dust subtle that some people probably won't even notice them unless i point them out. but yea, i might play around with the transparency and size etc to make it natural and not stand out.

In the nes days you are correct but I was more on about on the SNES, for example on a sudden running break some dust is seen when mario turns, but everything is all very minimal, my only real point is kinda like your wife they aren't that important to make a basic good platformer game. Yeah man @roundbeargames never take my comments as this is what you should do, I am just giving you player feedback and a opinion.

yea man i see your point. i'm already working on other things, mainly player movements. i'll make another video tomorrow with all the updates. i'll remember not to overdo anything :)
