Building a Better Rust Community
For those unaware, I have personally been hooked on the game Rust for quite a while now. I been with this game in my Steam library now about 2 years and every update seems to keep me and my fiance coming back.
While I cheerish the development team over at Facepunch, its been rather touch and go with mainstream servers to find a less toxic server and one more about the actual interaction with like minded Rust gamers like ourselves. So we decided to take our old gaming rig and do a test run with a 2X modded server running procedural maps each month. Our goals were to balance this server in a way that encourages players to team up against the environment but allow a loosely played system at the same time where everyone has PvP opportunities without serious drama.
So far...it appears the vibe on our server is really solid thanks to some amazing regulars who have really built already a strong foundation for new comers to join us....we really thank them for that!
Play On Your Own Terms
The way we run things at Rust Warfare Elite is to allow everyone to join our server and play the game as they venture to do so. We aren't heavy on the rules like a lot of servers are. We only ask to play fair, to avoid hacking to harass our players and mainly to avoid drama when things get heated in PvP on our server...its apart of the game and honestly the challenge built into it.
We have a many types with us, some there for just base building while others are there to practice their gunplay. So far these types have yet to clash which is rare as you know in a Rust server. We also encourage CLANS to join us, we have a one right now that are fast becoming one of my favorite groups of regulars.
Its basically a free for all with us, you play as you seem fit but we are there to help as well if you guys run into any issues in our Discord.
Custom Maps are Coming!
I have personally undertook the challenge of creating new maps for our server. With the success of our 2X server we are now planning on a second server on our i9 9900k system that will be set to 3X with new custom maps every month each wipe. I have been working on our first map now for a couple weeks through the RUST EDIT program and we should be launching this publicly very soon...hopefully by the first wipe of September. The 2X server will remain as well, that will always be a new procedural map every month and usually its a map of 4k-6K size variant.
Right now the design on this new custom map is becoming very detailed with many hidden areas to explore. As we grow I will continue to create new ones so we end up with an arsenal of unique environments not seen on other servers.
Modded with Passion
We take modding serious on our servers and constantly trying new things. With the help of RMS FX to host our server and UMOD we are constantly adopting new mods to keep the gameplay fresh for our players. We are also unlocked with the FPS so lag should not be a major issue for most in the USA but we also have guys from other parts of the world so through them we have been testing things to smooth out ping related lags which has been a huge benefit as we expand.

Finally, if you have any suggestions or comments about our server...please let us know. We are experimenting for a unique balanced system so willing to try new things along the way that is suggested by our community. Our main goal is to have a server with constant regulars interacting and making RUST the game its meant to be.
