The Outriders developer admits that he has not yet made a profit from his game.
When it was first launched, Outriders managed to attract a lot of people's attention to play the game. Even Square Enix also said that this game managed to get 3.5 million players in its first month.
But it turns out that the developer of the game, People Can Fly, admitted that until now his party has not received royalties from the sale of the game.
It was revealed through a report to investors that at this time Square Enix still has not given royalties to Outriders which may be evidence that the game is still not making any profits at all.
But now Outriders itself has been launched on Xbox Game Pass and that should make Square Enix at least get money from Microsoft so that the Outriders game can be included in Game Pass when it launches.
It's possible that Square Enix still has agreements with a number of parties so they still can't benefit from the game and give it to People Can Fly for now.
So from that, let's just see the development of the game, hopefully this Outriders IP will be one of the successful Square Enix IPs after repairs are made to the game.
