Dark Souls Remaster for Xbox One is now official

Rumors about a Dark Souls remaster have been playing for a few weeks. We ended the year counting that Dark Souls 1 Remaster could be a reality very soon and this morning we echoed that in Japan you can already book. Now, Bandai Namco has made official the remaster of the first Dark Souls for Xbox One.

Dark Souls came to Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2011 as a spiritual sequel to Demon's Souls and, although the gaming experience was, and still is, great, the problems with the frame rate per second were obvious. With the release of Xbox One X, the first installment of the saga improved at certain points thanks to the unlocked frame-rate and, as we showed in the next video, it was a good time to play the first Dark Souls.

Now, however, there is an even better excuse. And, the remaster of Dark Souls for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Switch will include improvements in lighting and some effects that will be similar to those seen in Dark Souls 3. In addition, it will also incorporate a multiplayer for up to 6 people and new textures . In addition, it will have 4K scaled resolution and 60 frames per second.

Something important is that the version of Dark Souls in Switch is being developed on the margin, so Bandai is working to update the versions of Xbox One, PC and PS4 with a new visual section. Now, the release date for Dark Souls Remaster on Xbox One will be May 25.
