Clash of Clan - Tips

Clash of Clan is a multiplayer strategy game released on 2 August 2012 on ios and 7 October 2013 on Android platform.It is a highly addictive game where millions of people play it every day.I'm sure many of you have heard about it and many have been playing it on regular basis.In this post, I will be writing some tips to play clash of clan and Improve your overall gaming experience.

                      

1. Never try to sell your account

Buying or selling account is against the terms of Service of the supercell. However, there is a black market for clash of clan accounts where people give some money in exchange of google+ account or game center account connected to the base.Clash of clan staffs do not tolerate such things and can permanently ban your account and seriously be selling an account for just $100 for 3-year work does not make sense.

2. Do not waste gems

Gems cost too much in this game .In order to have a max base, you need to spend more than 11000 dollars on gems.However, you can get free gems time to time by clearing obstacles and gems box or by completing events and achievements.The amount you will get will be small but if you do not waste it and collect it over time you can have a decent amount of gems.The best place to spend gems are on heroes or upgrading troops.   

             

3. Upgrade important troops first

In the clash of clan, there are 12 Elixir troops and 7 dark Elixir troops.You should be picky when you upgrade your troops, you have to choose whether you want to upgrade raid troops like giant, archer, barbarian and goblins or war troops like a dragon, loons, bowlers, Valkyrie, etc. If you are Townhall 8 or below then you should upgrade dragon, Townhall 9, 10, and 11 players should upgrade all dark Elixer troops first.

                

4. Upgrade cannon and archer tower in builder base

In May 2017, supercell has launched a new update in which was builder base.Many clash of clan players did not like the builder base much but the builder base is connected to the main village and there are two buildings you need to upgrade in builder base.Firstly, the double cannon to level 4 without it, you cannot upgrade your cannon to double cannon in the main base.Secondly, the short range archer tower to level 6 in the builder base so that you can unlock it to the main base.

                 

5. Different language servers for global chat

When I was new I did not know much about the language server for the global chat.I thought there was only 1 global chat but after playing some time I realize that there are many different global chats based on languages.You can find it on setting option.Some of the chat servers are English, Norsk, French, Dutch and Chinese.(Global chat is kind of text room where any clash of clan player chat, for those who do not know what it is)

                  

6. Importance of Heroes

In clash of clan there are 3 heroes the King, the Queen, and the Warden.You can unlock king at Townhall 7, Queen at Townhall 9 and Warden at Townhall 11. Heroes are the most important troops for your war performance especially queen and warden.Most of the clan will not take you in war if your heroes are upgrading.If you have gems then the best place to spend is on heroes upgrade so that you can play war on regular basis. Never try to upgrade your Townhall without maxing your heroes.

                    

7. Clash of Clan language

If you are a new player then I'm sure you won't understand some terms used by older players and I will try to explain a few of them.

• Rusher, it is a word used for players which upgrade Townhall  too fast without max their buildings and troops.
• Hopper , it is a word used for a player who join and leave different clan very fast.
• Pushing refers a process to get more trophies in clash of clan and reach to the top of there capacity. 
• Fc is a short form of friendly challenge in which you can post a challenge to your clan mates.
• Cc troops refers to the troops you store in clan castle.
• Hghb is a short form of healers,giants,hogs and bowlers.(Its a strategy consist of these troops)
• Lavaloon is a short form of a strategy consist of lava and loons.
• Engineered base, it is a base in which players rarely upgrade defense building but upgrade troops to get advantage in war.
• War  weight is a term used to determine your place in war map.Players with high level defense generally place in the top.
