Pikmin - The hardest game I've ever played - CPG
I hate this videogame and I love it at the same time, because for me, in my childhood and nowadays, it is still and always will be the videogame that accompanied me at all times, this game made me live by trying a and again finish the game completely. But as the days pass I get a huge appreciation of which will always be present in me, since this game was part of my childhood and I get where I loved it most when they bought my GameCube ...
PIKMIN is a videogame of the distributors Nintendo EAD, for the famous and old GameCube console, in addition the game was created by Shigeru Miyamoto, in the videogame there are small creatures of different colors called Pikmin in honor of the great and best friend of Miyamoto. Pik dog. PIKMIN is a game with good graphics, how much with 3D graphics, this game is from the genre Strategy, the game is based on that we control a little astronaut named Captain Olimar, which has the ability to control and command the little creatures called Pikmin.
There are only three types in PIKMIN, which are the following:
- Red Pikmin: are able to withstand the fire and very effective at the time of combat.
- Yellow Pikmin: you can throw them at a much higher height than the other Pikmin, they can manipulate rocks-Bomb, and resist the electricity. (They are found in the Forest of Hope).
- Blue Pikmin: can enter the water without drowning unlike the other Pikmins. (They can be found in the Navel of the Forest), they also have the ability to save the drowning Pikmins.
This great adventure of strategy, fun and difficulty, begins when Captain Olimar of the planet Hocotate, travels through outer space with his famous ship Dolphin. But a mishap happens when hitting a meteorite and thrown to a planet called "Planet Earth", this planet has a poisonous gas for which it has to leave the planet earth in thirty days before it runs out of oxygen, but his ship lost many pieces with the crash and the landing, only he will not be able to achieve it but with the help of the Pikmins that live there he will achieve the objective.
The main objective of the video game is to complete, and find all the pieces that were losses by the shock, which are scattered in a range of 1 square km, but have a time limit of 30 days to find them all. The game has 5 levels:
- Place of Impact: is where Captain Olimar crashes with his ship.
- Forest of Hope: It is the second part of the game after the place of impact.
- The Navel Of The Forest: It is a very dangerous place, you will find many geysers of fire that will make it difficult for you to travel there. (I recommend the red Pikmins)
- The Great Lagoon: It is the last area that you will find pieces for your ship, in addition it is a very ample and complicated area for reasons to the monsters difficult to kill that is there.
- The Final Test: in this level you will only have to look for one piece but which, you will be very, very, very difficult. You will need at least 250 Pikmins to achieve it, and hours after hours of hard work.
At the end of the game Captain Olimar will finally leave the happy planet earth, but at the same time a little sad about leaving the Pikmin, as they shared with the many adventures, experiences, challenges, and risks together.
But there is also a second part of the videogame which is called:
PIKMIN 2
But it is based on other adventures, new pikmins, new characters, and many more levels which will make you spend a great time in the game ...
PIKMIN 3 (the last and the great end of the game)
A sequel to Pikmin which has new characters (3 characters), new creatures and monsters, new levels, and finally better and new Pikmins that will make you a much better game experience than in the previous Pikmins. Pikmin ... The game that changed my life!
At the same time I loved this game, but at the same time I hated it knowing that I could not do it, when I was 10 years old, I went to sleep every day at 3:00 a.m. or 4:00 a.m. because it lasted all day playing famous game Pikmin on my GameCube console! They gave me my 10th birthday with a single PIKMIN game, which at first I thought was a boring game for being a strategy. But when playing it I realized many things, that it does not matter the genre of the game, nor the year, graphics! What really matters is the feeling you share with the game, the love that makes you fall in love with that game along with your console, they begin to be part of your life the more you play the more you fall in love.
That was the feeling that I felt the first day I played Pikmin on my GameCube console, although most times I was sad and angry about not being able to achieve the game, but then I only saw the cover of the game and smiled, (goodbye anger and sadness ) because I knew that sooner or later I would finish the game, because thanks to him my childhood was fun and happy.
A unique and original feeling was what I shared with pikmin in many years of my life, and now it is he who still gladdens me every dawn, dusk, and dusk. I want to thank Pikmin for changing my life completely.
Before I met Pikmin I used to be very boring, I played a lot of games but none that caught my attention. When pikmin finally came to my life I knew it was a video game that would never separate him, while they spent the days playing, little by little I may be realizing that if it was true that a human being loved a video game! I tell you from my own experience, that happened to me with pikmin. I also want to motivate everyone to share this feeling with pikmin, and if you do not like the pikmin game, I invite you not to give up and look for a videogame that will fill you with joy, love, happiness, emotion, peace, and a little bit of anger! Do not worry, that anger will disappear
I recommend that you take all the time necessary to understand the video game, as it often happens that the videogame makes your life squares by trying one, and again the same level! But do not worry why little by little you will realize that the more you play it, the more you will love it, and the more you love it, the more you hate it. It may be something complicated to understand, why it can not be understood with simple words!
