Los primeros grupos que serán los que jugaran para pasar al torneo principal Serian los siguientes:

Group A

EDG: Edward Gaming
INF: Infinity Sports
DW: Dark Wolves

Group B

G2: G2 Sports
SMS: Supermassive Sports
AG: Ascension Gaming

Group C

C9: Cloud 9
KBM: KaBuM! e-Sports
DF: DetonatioN FocusMe

Group D

GR: G-Rex
GMB: Gambit Sports
KLG : Kaos Latin Gamers

Estos serian los grupos que pelearan un puesto en el evento principal o Main event.

Acá estarían los grupos del evento principal:

Group A

FW: Flash Wolves
AFS: Afreeca Freecs
PVB: Phong Vũ Buffalo

Group B

RNG: Royal Never Give Up
GG: Gen G
VIT: Team Vitality

Group C

KT: KT Rolster
MAD: MAD Team
TL: Team Liquid

Group D

FNC: Fnatic
100T: 100 Thieves
IG: Invictus Gaming

Así estaría de momento conformados los grupos del evento principal esperando al ganador principal de cada grupo del Play in Stage... Es una lastima que SKT Y TSM no puedan estar en estos Worlds pero sin duda serán muy interesantes con Gen G y Royal Never Give Up como favoritos a ganar estos Worlds, Podrá EU o NA poner fin al reinado de Korea y China?
