My Sports Betting Journal - 10$/day strategy - Day 2 - (09.07.2017)
Hi Steemit friends ! I'm @mrrobert96. Yesterday, i decided to start a betting journal. I did start with 37 $ in my account and i managed to end up with 127 $ by the end of the day. Now, it's time to start my "easy money" strategy.
I did put another bet yesterday with some of the "change" i had and the selections were good.
I did bet 2.17 $ and i expected to win 33 $. Unfortunately, the match was abandoned at the friendly game between Bremen and Ajax because some player was seriously injured. (i didn't look into details but i hope that he is ok)
It was min 82 and the score was 2-1. Because of that, it was a null bet and i ended up winning only 14.96 $.
I now have 142 $ in total. I saved 42 in case something bad happens and i did bet 100 $ just like i planned. I decided to risk a little bit more and i ended up putting the money on 2 selections.
I hope that i will not be punished by breaking my plan in the first day. Normally, i wanted to bet only on low odds of 1.10. I have 2 matches here and the chances of losing are bigger. However, i am confident in these selections. Why ?
Norrkoping plays great football at home in the Swedish League and they do not conced many goals at home. Elfsborg is not such a powerhouse on their away trips either and they haven't scored more than 1 goal in their most recent away trips. It's hard to believe that they will score at least 3 here because Norrkoping is the favourite to win anyway.
Also, England has a strong team at Under 19. Of course, Germany has a strong team too and we should expect a close match here. I do expect a victory from England but it's possible to see a draw result. However, even if Germany wins, i believe it will only be by 1 goal difference and the bet will be good regardless.
So, if we don't see some major upsets here i should make a profit of 33 $ from this. Good enough for today. You should always be ready for major upsets too and i did have 42 $ saved to start over again in case something goes terribly wrong. But they should go right without problem.

Your bets all seem to be based on your assessment of the relative likelihood of your selection winning. Have you considered matched betting, where you are guaranteed (a much smaller) payout regardless of the outcome?
Not really, what kind of matched betting are you talking about ? I think that you have to watch for opportunities and to play on different sites to exploit the odds difference in that case.
Kind of. You take advantage of boosted odds or special offers and off set your risk at a betting exchange such as betfair or betdaq. It's not as lucrative as it used to be as bookies offers are pretty poor these days but I have made thousands of pounds over the years and it's all risk free!
Very Interesting ! I will try it in the future if all of this fails. It will fail sooner or later but i hope that i can make some hundreds of dollars before it does.

A tip for you to consider using a "betting bank" and then only betting a set percentage of that bank on each bet. Maybe 5-10%. That was you can withstand a run of bad luck and if you're good then your bank will still grow.
