Governments and industries witnessed the value of GAChain

On Dec.21,2018, the 2nd New Smart City Peak Forum of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was held in Guangzhou Science Museum.

The great event has attracted the eyes of governments and institutions around China. Over 600 experts and leaders from pilot smart cities departments attended the summit forum, gathering around to discuss how to foster the transformation of governance in the digital age with emerging technologies.

As a leading blockchain enterprise, an underlying operating system with ‘sovereign hierarchical management’ function has been largely accepted by governments and businesses, which was self-developed by ShenZhen GAChain Technology. Liu Yi, the deputy general manager of GAChain, was invited to give a speech on the theme of ‘Application of Blockchain in E-government’ by the organizer of this peak forum.

Up till now the governments have successively issued the “Interim Measures for the Administration of Government Information Resources Sharing”, the “Guidelines for the Construction of the “Internet + Government Services” Technical System” and the “Implementation Plan for the Integration and Sharing of Government Information Systems” , providing basic compliance for cross-department data sharing. At the same time,different places of city governments around China have also explored a series of useful practices.

How to effectively promote the cross-sector data sharing to build "digital government" still remains an urgent issue.

In January 2018, the “Administrative Approval Service Platform” for Guangzhou Nansha District has caught the attention of the superiors when the project approved. The platform is independently developed by Shenzhen GAChain Technology based on its innovative blockchain technology. After several months of business data testing, the platform has been optimized and realized solving a series of problems that existsd in the current e-government system.

In the past, governments worried about the security of data on public chain, and the technical bottleneck of the industry also limited the application promotion. The policy news and industry trends from the peak forum indicated that the government is transforming towards a sharing, integrating, coordinating and service-oriented government, and has explored to promote more and more data information emerging technologies in developing e-government and solving data isolation problems.

2018 is the first year of blockchain application, and it is also a year filled with ups and downs. After the heat of market cool down will people realize that only the enterprises that really dedicate in developing and promoting blockchain technology will last longer.
