G20 - Please not like this!
You probably saw what happened in Hamburg the last days.
I understand the people who are against G20 and the politicians who paralyze a whole city just to talk about how to make better conditions for the world economy but are not really helping those in need.

I think it is importand for those politicians to meet in order to get to know each other, because you always have a better relation with somebody you met in person. And in the picture you can also see in some faces that it is not always easy for them to reach an agreement. But I don't get why they have to make so much trouble about it. Everyday some politicians meet in some parliament somewhere in the world, but when the heads of the most powerfull 20 countries get together all hell breaks loose. Just think about how much money and resources are spend just for the American president alone (Choppers, his Limousine, own hangar, ...):
So of course there are many protests. It began with some peacefull protests marches with people dancing etc. I think even the "Welcome to Hell" demostration on Thursday, although there was also a lot of trouble at the beginning, turned out to be less violent than some media said it will be.
But than I saw what happened on Friday after coming home late that evening:
And today I heared about violence and robberies in the news.
This is not how you protest!
It is good to say you are against something and do something about it. But with doing sh*t like this you just put harm to the people of hamburg who are just normal citizens like you, kill your reputation and show everybody that the media and police where right from the beginning and you bring no content to political discussions.
At the beginning I thought the police is too hard in some cases when you see how they treat some protesters. But after reading how many of them where hurt and attacked I can totally understand them. According to the twitter feed of Hamburg's fire department (@FeuerwehrHH) even some rescue teams where hindered in there work.
Everybody who is not interested in peacefull political protest: GO HOME!!
Rather start making stuff better by participating in political debates and elections beginning at your local commutity and regional parliament instead of showing your displeasure by spreading chaos and violence.
RESTEEMED!
