PundiX announced a Blockchain platform of their own making called Function X or f (x). Emphasis on real applications, f (x) will be a special Blockchain platform in the field of payment, and compete with similar competitors such as Stellar and Ripple. The basic difference between f (x) and Ripple or Stellar is the use of XPOS devices as Nodes. As is well known that PundiX has launched more than 5,000 of their POS devices (XPOS) to 7 countries. This will make it easier for f (x) to operate more quickly and stably.

Function X is not an ordinary blockchain, but a fully decentralized solution. f (x) blockchain consists of 5 essential components, namely: Function X OS, Function X Blockchain, Function X IPFX, FXTP Protocol, and the Function X Docker. These five components have one main goal, which is to make all applications, websites, communications and data decentralized. F (X) OS is based on Android OS 9.0 so developers can build and develop applications on f (x) like developing Android applications. Within the Function X ecosystem, the internet protocol used is also different, namely with F (X) OS, F (X) Chain, F (X) FXTP, F (X) Docker, and F (X) IPFS to serve web services that are decentralized nature.

Each device in the f (x) ecosystem acts as a node and has its own address and private key. Once registered, if someone wants to access other people's data or public content, they only need to input FXTP: // xxx. (Name), like for example FXTP: //xxx.pitt. This is similar to what we usually do by inputting https: // protocol. You can access anything such as photos, data, files, or websites through this path.

PundiX will soon release a detailed f (x) design framework on 15 October 2018. By releasing f (x), PundiX believes that the open-source nature will strengthen the decentralized blockchain community. In the future, developers will be able to access f (x) source code and participate in developing f (x) products and ecosystems themselves. It will be very interesting to see how developers can create various kinds of technologies and DApps in the future.

PundiX announced the launch of their own smartphone called XPhone, which will further facilitate transactions using cryptocurrency.
