Why you don't need a pension
Worried about a pension? Worried that you don't have enough money saved up.
If you're under 50 years of age, you will probably never have to worry about retirement and having a pension.
In fact, if you're between 20 and 30 years of age, you may never get to the "peak" of your working career.
No. The world isn't about to end!
In fact, quite the opposite.
We are approaching a time in history when people will not have to work at all.
Our basic needs: food, clothing, shelter will be free.
The reasons for this have to do with the convergence of some very important technologies in the next few years,
technologies that separately are disruptive, each to a number of industries.
But, together, these technologies will be disruptive to our entire way of life here in the developed countries of the world.
The best estimate as to when this disruption will occur is in 2030. If anything, if that number is wrong, it is because it will happen earlier, not later.
In my upcoming stories, I will cover these different technologies that are converging and explain why together they will change our lives, forever.
Oh, don't think that not having to work means all fun and games. It doesn't. Not by a long shot.
To prepare for this new way of life, we all have a lot of "work" to do. But, obviously I don't mean getting another job, because in the long run that will not make a difference. The type of "work" needed has to do with preparing yourself emotionally, and mentally, and perhaps most important, in terms of creating good habits, that will allow you to live a creative and happy life in this new reality that is dawning upon us.
Interresting topic and I think your right to some degree, but I also think that there is trouble ahead. First of all we need to rethink some of the technologies we use right now otherwise we wil be I big trouble within the next decade. (should probably follow my challen for it to make sense) Another thing is that I fell this "New way of Life" will not apply to all of the human race with the collective conciousness, we have right now, but if we join together and put aside our differences, it could work out just fine.
