Why i use this Platform
There is more then 2 billion people using facebook every month.
What is facebook's business model?
They sell their users information to companies so they can use the information to get more easily target the right people with their advertisement.
Who makes Facebook valuable? if In make a post on facebook or get targeted by a special advertising video and end up buying the product
Who is it that brings value to the platform?
By this thursday facebook was value at 555 Billion USD
with 40.7 Billion in revenue 2017
98.3 % of its revenue coming from advertisers.
I'm not saying that facebook doesn't bring value to the people, facebook has connected the world in a incredible way but when its our user information and our photos, posts and videos that gives value to the platform then I believe we should get more of the value created
I quit fb, never looked backed since. They are selling you as a piece of meat on the market, and you don't even know who bought you. And the manipulation of news, streams, virtual opinion bubbles, constant advertisements, Mark Z, honestly don't understand why anyone has any fun there.
