We could have done so well... IF, after the age of reason had started, we would have done the reasonable thing, bred #intelligence. We could all be IQ 180 or so by now rather than less than half that (on average).
There would be no #overpopulation, no plastics in oceans, no shit in rivers, life would not be going extinct on this planet because we instead chose (subconsciously of course, as we obviously didn't have a #consciousness elevated enough to think the necessary thoughts, have the needed awareness) to make sure that a horde of knuckle-dragging troglodytes, only fit for an Iron Age culture, was treated "fairly," against all evolutionary wisdom, so they could procreate lice-like and ruin everything.
So here we now are, trying to do what we should have done long ago, but didn't for feelz, caught up in a ridiculous herd animal quagmire of delusional beliefs. And how are we handling it ? We are dumbing down the masses even more, ignoring scientific fact, painstakingly lowering IQs in areas where they reached half-way bearable levels, proposing that BREEDING FOR INTELLIGENCE IS EVIL, the term of choice being the egalitarian construct "racism." Thereby proving that the majority of the species at an IQ level of 86, indeed only fit for the Iron Age and its childish beliefs, reflexively-enviously desires to drag down those who dared rise even slightly above, accusing them of #supremacism. Folks - it's either supremacism OR decline. Get that ?
This is by utter default giving rise to conspiracy theories because everybody with a mind will ask the cui bono question. Anyone ? Not even clever psychopaths, if you think about it - only dumb ones, short-term. So there, "Elites," if you're not just a nomen nudus, here's your chance, prove you're not just mediocre alpha animals. Plausibility will do, give me plausibility or give me death. Ah - you're sending in your troglodytes ? Akbar !
Apparently, "humanity" wants to dwell in the rich stable smell of its amphibian coma and go down with it, back to the roots, munching on the rest of the ecosphere with glee, gliding in a dumb, slimy downward spiral of delirious, half-witted death-wish brooding, muttering ritualistic incantations : the very ape-x of human intelligence.
