I think your final statement sums it up well. That "free" market is simple. They are only going to be empowered to act upon those who subjugate their power. The rest of us will continue doing business in the free market, free from taxation, oversight or meddling hands. This is specifically why I only look for ICO offerings who are not domiciled in any of the jurisdictions in one of the tyrannical regimes. The beauty of crypto is the lack of the ability of governments to do anything about it. I often have friends who are so concerned with what their tax liability is going to be and I can only chuckle at the hoops they planning on jumping through just to donate money to their authority.
