Now you need some linseed oil to mix with it as the beeswax does not penetrate the wood to protect it, it acts as a topical barrier but doesn't offer much more protection then that. You have to run it across the wood in one direction in two to three layers, after it dries you take a rag and wipe it the same way to buff it. Sounds like a cheap and natural way to go but comes attached with about five hundred dollars worth of labor.
I hope just the beeswax makes the drawers slide. Somebody did some sanding and then waxed them. I'm not trying to protect the wood. I just want the drawers to work so I can sell it.
