My TOP 5 MEMORABLE VIDEO GAME VILLAIN from the past

Hello Friends, I welcome you to my time machine for this review of some of the old time bad guy from the past. We all had big fight with bosses over the years but some old baddy might have left us a mark that we won't forget.

So, without further comments, let's start with the number 5.

Lord Haart from Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

Why is he on this list, he seems decent enough? Because he betrayed you! The son of a bitch acted like he was one of your heroes, if you did the tutorial he is the one you play. The hard truth is, he was the one that poison the king and led Erathia to its downfall. Not so nice after all but he will got what he deserved ( being killed and then turned into an undead). He was my first experience of being that betrayed that bad in a video game so this is why he made the list.

Number 4

If you played Baldur's Gate you might have recognized the legendary Jon Irenicus. Ok, at this point I had a hard time deciding whether I would rate Sarevok or Irenicus as number 4. Both were very compelling villain that you love to hate. So, basically i Baldur's Gate you play the son of a dead god and everybody is trying to steal your divinity from you, Irenicus was so good at it that he also stole it from your sister/best friend. In the end, you have no choice but to give him what he deserve!

Number 3

No need to name this one, if you know anything about videogame you know him. Why is he on the list? Well even if he never really won against Mario, he's still in the game. He's not a quitter and he'll always come with an interesting world from where Mario will have to fight his way to beat him. So nice hard work but that's pretty much it.

Number 2

Yes it is Mike Tyson and if you've ever played his boxing game you know that he might not be a real villain but you'll hate him anyway, this game is so hard to beat it doesn't make any sense. This is the real villainy!

And, now, the number one, the real villain

Number 1 is :

Yes it is the Butcher from Diablo, the original one, the one that start the legacy and also really started the Hack n Slash type of gaming. But back to the butcher, why is he on the list? Because he was terrifying, really terrifying because he was the first real Hack n Slash boss. Imagine, you play a new kind of video game, you fight lots of enemies ( skeleton, zombies, goblin and crawler like creature) and now you find a square room filled with body parts. You open the door and you hear those words :
HAAA FRESH MEAT! At this point a big bad monster start running toward you, no problem you tell yourself, you bested every monster on this level in one or two hit. Nop this one is not going down after one or two and he's hurting you, hurting you bad. The only thing left for you to do is run away and try to understand what just happened. First really strong monster you encounter and this why he's getting the first position. Once you've been surprised with a villain like that the other might be hard to beat but no boss after him will terrify you as the Butcher did the first time you met him.
