Touchpads are a feature of every laptop nowadays. It's best way to use laptop without mouse. It's silent and easy to use.

The first touchpad was developed for Psion's MC 200/400/600/WORD Series in 1989. Olivetti and Triumph-Adler introduced the first laptops with touchpad in 1992. In 1994, Cirque introduced the first widely available touchpad, GlidePoint. Later, Synaptics introduced their touchpad. Since the early 2000s, touchpads have become the dominant laptop pointing device as most laptops produced during this period beyond include only touchpads.

But some people don't wanna use touchpad insistently. I don't know why and i think i will never gonna know. Especially in library! Click Click cLICK CLICK cliCK! U have touchpad and brain please use them, it's free! Besides u don't have to carry a mouse!
