Elephant in the Room | Patrice O'Neal's Last Comedy Special
This hour and a half special was released in 2011, only a couple months prior to Patrice's untimely death. The allusions to his own death are a foretelling of how intelligent and dark Patrice truly was. He would open the crowd up by picking on couples, and testing their humor by asking them about real life scenarios. Patrice was brilliant with his analysis of double standards, all the while being hilarious.

He claimed women who dress sexily in the workplace are almost like fish covered in honey working with Grizzly Bears, and the men are the Grizzly Bears. He can make women laugh about sexist issues, and people of all ethnicities laugh about racial issues of the time. Patrice was absolutely brilliant and I am upset he has been gone for so long, the state of the world with Trump and political collusion would be prime for Patrice's cynical yet brilliant commentary. RIP big man, I love you.
