I’m not mechanically or otherwise inclined but I’d like to think I’d catch that it wasn’t plugged in.

My car chewed through several alternators and I finally got my dad to look at it (who is a mechanic but lives far away). There was no grounding wire. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Fixed that and no issues after that.
