Family compared with a country
One of the typical Romanian jokes subject is about politics.
Some people compared a country with a family not once; in this "country", the father is the president, which is just like a boss, the mother is the Ministry of Finances, of Health, of Education and of Culture, and the children are the citiziens, who are always revolting.
