I think you should be able to have any gun the government can. In America you have to go through a back round check to buy a hunting rifle(where I live in MD it better not have more than 10 round magazine) but if you're a foreign terrorist organization fighting a government they don't like they'll send you some ak's and RPGs.
I'm from Illinois just outside of Chicago and this is mostly accurate. The gun control laws here are ridiculous. I have to jump though a ton of hoops. But hey at least I'm not in Cali
