CRINGE-WORTHY JOKE OF THE WEEK (Volume 2)
"A wonderful thing about true laughter is that it just destroys any kind of system of dividing people.” - John Cleese
I began Cringe-Worthy Joke of the Week on another social media site that begins with the letter “F” and shall remain nameless. This idea was born when I discovered that people just weren’t telling jokes anymore. We need jokes now more than ever because the ultimate antidote to both seriousness and self-absorption is h-u-m-o-r.
I’ve noticed lately that the telling of jokes (especially wonderfully corny/cringe-worthy ones) is an art that begs to be revived before it completely flat-lines. This is how the idea for this weekly series was born.
Humor is a survival mechanism, it’s the relief-valve of humanity, a means of artistic expression, and a way to bring us all together. Laughter truly is the universal language.

Here it is, the Cringe-Worthy Joke of the Week:
What’s the difference between a poorly dressed man riding a tricycle and a nicely dressed man riding a bicycle?
Attire! 😂

I like short corny jokes! One of my earliest posts showcased 10 one liners.
Thanks for sharing yours, and always remember, you can tune a piano but you can't tuna fish!
They're definitely not everyone's "cup of tea" but I'm glad you enjoyed it! Good one by the way...is that from Groucho Marx?
Thanks, I think it is! Here's another of his:
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
Love it, @kenny-crane! I like the play on words!
Came here for a bad joke....was not disappointed.
Ouch! These kinds of jokes aren't for everyone.
No no, I meant that in a good way!
Oh, good! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I must agree with your premus. We have had our sence of humer remove by the Government.
I love to hear jokes, BUT... I am the worst joke teller ever. I either crack myself up and no one else found it funny, or I get to the end and forget the punchline.
I have the exact same problem but it does get easier with practice. I actually want to go to an amateur open mic night and try my hand at stand up comedy. I have to work my way up to that though!
I listen to my custom comedy station on Pandora app in my car more than anything else.
I LOVE good stand up comedy. A friend of mine and I have been to both Zanies and Second City in Chicago...we enjoyed ourselves way more at Zanies. Who's your favorite comedian? I liked Carlin.
Oooh!
I know! It's so bad.
Haha.
Fnar Fnar, to keep up with the bicycle theme
What do you call a Nun on a bike?
A cyclist....... Budum tsch!
Ha! Thanks for the comment and the joke Budum....tsch! : )
heh heh
thanks for keeping the humor coming
Thanks! I'd like to keep this up at least once a week. I think this is about all my readership can handle. : )
I could handle it 3x a week! not nearly enough jokes in my world ;-)
I have a storehouse of them @natureofbeing. : )
hehe can't wait
Great initiative to bring humor! The joke was actually better than expected! :) You, sir, deserve to be followed!
Glad you enjoyed it @writingamigo! I'll be doing this once a week from now on, very likely on Monday because people really need to laugh on Mondays. : )
True! Looking forward to it!
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
: )
xD we call those "dry jokes" in Portugal
Yes! I love all jokes but especially the dry ones. : ) Thanks for your comment @kanoptx
