Thief of the day: Stole a Ferrari and you're not gonna believe why he got caught

Definitely not the brightest thief out there. Mr. Rocky Jiemenez of Georgia, really really wanted a Ferrari. Not just any Ferrari mind you, but the latest release out there, Ferrari 488 GTB. I mean, you either go big or go home. This car is worth about $245.000 so it does draw some attention and expectation from the bystanders: you got money! 

So Mr. Jiemenez manages to steal one from a dealership, we give him credit for that, stealing a Ferrari is not an easy task. Then as he goes cruising down the road, feeling on top of the world, he realizes that it's running out of gas. Note for those who don't know, most cars in dealerships are not filled up with petrol. 

He pulls in a gas station but he doesn't start filling up the tank because...he doesn't have money.

So what do you do when you have a Ferrari 488 GTB that needs petrol?
Correct: You ask people around you for pocket change. Some idiot thought something was off with Mr. Jiemenez who was driving a Ferrari yet asking for gas money, that he dared to call the police. 

Well the police arrived and approached Mr. Jiemenez (who must've come across a few good Samaritans because he was fueling up the Ferrari at this stage). A very rational man, Mr. Jiemenez explained to the police that he just picked up his Ferrari 488 GTB after 2 years from getting it serviced and the paperwork is in his back pocket...but he forgot that's where he had keys to yet another Ferrari. 

The police called around a few dealerships and found that the car was stolen and Mr. Jiemenez got arrested.
