Embarassing trip to the Aquatic store with the mother of all hangovers

After having had rather a few too many Vinos the previous night, it was Saturday after all...... I decided with my friend that it would be a great idea to walk to the local Café for a good old full English, kill or cure right? After having demolished said breakfast we popped into the Aquatic store next door. Neither of us have any fish or any interest in getting them but it seemed like a great idea at the time.
looking back I may still have been slightly tipsy....

Once in the store we marvelled at all the brightly coloured Tropical fish on display but it was the creature in the picture below which really took our breath away. Almost alien in its beauty, I was adamant that I wanted one for home or at the very least a picture of it. My friend and I then jostled each other to try and get the perfect shot, trying various angles and positions, all of course in the view of the shop staff. Just look at these pictures and you will understand my fascination...

We then moved on from the wonderful creature and on approaching the exit heard sniggering amongst the spotty adolescents behind the counter. It was then that on looking upon the shelf to my right I noticed something familiar in a box, that's right yes, in plastic box, no water present and what's that I see, oh yes a battery compartment

The alien like creature we had been taking photos of and cooing over in front of everyone was a plastic decoration.
Needless to say we made a sharp exit out.

Let this be a lesson to you all. When hungover ideally do not leave the house but if you do, do not try anything different. Stick to the safety of what you know!
