Mushrooms
So it is official, put it on the books. Next year I am taking a vacation to mushroom hunt. Don't know where, but I know in August 2019 will be looking. Also, I am going to try growing some at my place, during fall winter and spring are probably the best times for me down here, so they don't have to deal with 115 degrees. 
I am going to be looking for this guy, and some other ones. I just think it would be something fun to take a road trip for. I also love me so sauteed mushrooms. I am going to also try and grow this guy and see how it turns out. Will let you know.
We had looked into growing some mushrooms in our garden this summer. We decided against it but we do go through a ton of mushrooms. We put them in everything. Mushrooms and onions are staples here in our house. You can call it your mushroom quest.
Ya, I just want to give it a shot. Probably won't work, but hey. It will be a story right.

This thing is unreal! How could a shroom be this beautiful like what lol looks like a flower you would only see in tropical islands
Mushroom hunting is fun :) It is one of our national hobbies here in the Czech Republic. Those in your post look like the chicken of the woods - I just found them in a forest here a couple of days ago. It is a very interesting species - it can be used in a broth, goulash or you can fry it. I also dedicated a post to it :)

You should come to Romania and travel thru woods and you'll find during Spring some awesome types of mushrooms very rich in magnesium sulfate ... Very tasty for cooking but careful with the red ones and some other crazy ones ... always boil water with a clove of garlic inside when you're cooking mushrooms and if the garlic is getting dark green or brown one of the mushrooms is poisoned ... just an advice ...
