Fundition at Steemfest – growing together
Fundition was on SteemFest and for many people, it was the star of the show. We have been working hard and focusing on improvement and support to so many of your projects with confidence that our work was appreciated but we had no idea to what extent. When we met some of you in Krakow, your reactions were a pleasant surprise. From hugs and smiles to tears of gratitude. Every time someone told us we have changed their lives, our heart grew just a bit bigger because it was a lovely confirmation that we were on the right track.
We have met amazing people, visited gorgeous sites, listened to interesting lectures, eat delicious food, shared great laughs and warm hugs, gave lectures and presentations, enjoyed Poland and all of you. Our experience was extraordinary and we hope that this review of our trip would manage to portray just what a great time we had and carry some of our delight on to you.
Day 0 - 6.11.2018.
Let's start with day zero. We call it zero because we arrived a day early to have enough time to settle in the apartment and learn something about the town we came to. Krakow delighted us with its beauty and architecture, its open people and great food. We were surprised at how warm the weather was. The Sun was shining and everything was indicating that this was going to be an amazing experience.
That zero day was very special to us because we met and spend the entire day with @leotrap, our Ambassador from Uruguay. We were all very excited to finally meet him and spend some quality time together.
@leotrap is very much involved with Steem and Fundition and it was a pure joy to be around him. We were chilling in the airbnb, went out to eat, enjoyed his company and had a lot of fun together.

Day 1 - 7.11.2108.
The first day of SteemFest finally came and we were happy to get our badges and check in the SteemFest event. Welcome drinks were a nice touch. We did slowly begin to act like your typical tourists and enjoy the sites. We visited a church next to our apartment (Corpus Christi Church) and went to a local mall next to a river.
This was the beginning of all the hugging that would take place in the next couple of days. People wanted us to know how we changed their lives through Fundition and it was amazing to see the joy on their faces and hear their stories.
We met @bitrocker2020, our Ambassador from Malaysia, who seemed to know everybody at Steemfest and was always warm and thoughtful. @manncpt talked to us about his next project with @Globalschool on Fundition and we could see a great amount of motivation in his eyes. @artakush, our Angel, was the funniest guy around with always telling jokes and always laughing and we got to learn a lot about Malaysia and its culture from @AaronLeang and @joannewong. We met a lot of different apps founders and got overwhelmed at times by all the energy and people who were stopping us, shaking hands, taking pictures and sharing their time with us.
Day 2 - 8.11.2108.
Our third day in Krakow was actually the first official day of SteemFest Conferences at Stara Zajedznia. @Roelandp made a welcome speech and after @Ned and @andrarchy had been interviewed, we got a chance to meet with Ned and talk to him. Most of the day we spent going up and down, up and down, and up and down the stairs because there were two stages with so many interesting lectures we wanted to listen to. We met some great people along the way…
We got together with @travelgirl, one of our amazing Angels. She is very open-minded and easy to talk to. So easy and so welcoming that we were even interrupting her while she was making her vlogs. By “we”, we mean Goyard. @Misslasvegas, our Ambassador from Netherlands/Ireland was also there (she was actually the last person we would see before the Fest ended) and we enjoyed her company very much. @Oracle-D (@starkerz) explained to us how Fundition actually paid for his trip to Indonesia to promote steem, the blockchain, and crypto world. It was lovely to realize how we shared the same mindset and how eager he was to promote Fundition. @akipponn and @Sho-T made us really happy and we hope they will become our Ambassadors soon, they have already been promoting Fundition to Japanese community and Akipponn even translated the whole Fundition platform into Japanese.
Day 3 - 9.11.2108.
This day was the most important one, it was the day that @hightouch made his presentation about @Futureshock and everything that has been done in the last year (Fundition, SteemStem, and OnGame). You can read all about it in our post Fundition presentation on SteemFest in Krakow

This was also the day when we met some amazing new people like @rhondak and @gmuxx (Founders of Dogs in Need and the Writer’s Block). @rhondak was something like “love at first sight” encounter at Steemfest for some of us.
We met @jonching, the founder of Musing.io, a very nice guy, calm and pretty chill. The Busy presentation was incredible, it’s the V3 Busy and we can’t wait to use it. In their presentation, we could see a little bit of Ongame.io post, which was incredible. The V3 will be such a revolution for the Steem community!
We found out that @jhsung2002, the Tasteem Manager, was actually a gamer. He has been supporting Chibera project on Fundition.io and will take a look at OnGame too. @stoodkev, the Founder of SteemPlus was incredibly interesting and nice to talk to. He already made a project on Fundition before and just made another one. At the end of the day, we were pretty satisfied that we got the chance to listen to great presentations about Busy team, The creative crypto (@sndbox), @Ddaily team, Partiko, Steemhunt (@project7), eSteem (@good-karma) and enjoyed the company of so many extraordinary people that made our day fabulous.

Day 4 - 10.11.2108.
On this day, we decided to play the role of tourists again. Some of us visited the Auschwitz and some went to WorkShops Area and stayed there for the eSteem Meetup.
Day 5 - 11.11.2108.
On our last day at SteemFest, we went for a Salt Mine Tour that lasted for 3 hours. The mines were 64 - 120m underground it was a very interesting experience to visit them.
We had Closing Drinks at Qubus Hotel where we had to say a hard goodbye to all steemians but we all left with the promise to Make Steem Great Again. Being at SteemFest completely changed our lives and we feel lucky and grateful for such an amazing experience.
I was able to meet several Steemians from all over the world it was really enriching to have met so many people in one place to discover live the app founders who are really all interesting as much as the others their conference on the projects with the new updates coming up etc... it was a big step for the evolution of Steem!

There is FUN in Fundition for a reason. We could not end this post without giving you some extra bonus info about what we did and transfer some of the atmosphere. Did you know that Poland is famous for its beer production?
It also has amazing food that not only tasted great but looks great too…
...and even people who were not that talkative and pretty shy to communicate are still interesting to be around.
To everyone that we had the pleasure of meeting, thank you. All of you enriched our lives and made our SteemFest amazing. We would like to extend our gratitude to organizers too and we appreciate all the effort they have put into organizing such a huge event. We would also like to say a huge thank you to a group of people who made SteemFest go smoothly and invested their time and energy, we love you @aishwarya, @sjennon, @things, @firepower, @varunpinto, @wandereronwheels, @poezio, @timsaid, @mynewlife, @shourai, @detlev, @anomadsoul, @good-karma, @knozaki2015, @techslut, @gtg, @surfyogi, @ned, and all the speakers and performers of SteemFest3! Fundition team didn't apply for reimbursement and we hope that all of those who needed help with financing their trip got it and enjoyed their stay with no worry on their mind.

Lovely to read the post with more details about the participation. In 2007, there was only presentation by marly who talked about charity cause @dreemsoftheocean . I was so excited to listen her presentation live. I was so optimistic this year for the development of fundition. Nice presentation by @hightouch . I found some new faces here though i knew tham by only username. Hope we will able to build the world more sustainable and bring positive changes in every corner of the world through @fundition

Hopefully we will see you next year at SF4 because you have A LOT to share about charities, fundraising, and how to build a better future! and I think you also have a lot to say about Fundition actually!

Just an excellent summary of many things that happened and totally agree about the amazing people we met in there, seems that time is not enough to talk with all of them deeper and keep on evolving.

@hightouch, I can't believe we didn't see eachother at steemfest. I found myself looking around many times trying to spot you, but for some reason, I didn't see you =(. I'm so sorry. To be fair, I had to work during the day, so I was only there after all the presentations were over. I hope you had a great time!
