We're stoked to announce that we've just found the perfect facilities for our upcoming charity event: a wonderful open air swimming pool that is part of a brandnew and modern sports center located on the isle of Lanzarote.

A heated open air pool with a state-of-the-art saline chorination, breandnew installations and a highly professional team specialized in swim trainings for kids are just some of the superlatives to anticipate. - @surfermarly

During our today's meeting with the Manager we were already planning the event in detail. Since the deal is waiting for its final approval I won't confirm the name of the partner yet. But I'm 99% sure that we'll be celebrating a wonderful steemy event at this place soon.

Fundition.io is our joker!

Only 48 hours ago we set up a project on fundition.io - the decentralized crowdfunding application built on Steem - in order to further promote the initiative and generate some 'last minute donations' for the swim event. So far we've already raised $42.06 dollars in Steem funds through our fundition.io account - that's one more kid learning to swim this summer!

Besides the great support of the fundition community - both on fundition.io and the corresponding discord server - we'd like to take the opportunity to congratulate the @fundition team for their extraordinary smart application! Thank you @enisshkurti, @free999enigma, @hightouch and the rest of the team! Special thanks to Enis for introducing us to fundition.io.

A very appealing UI, a logical design and a great usability contribute to an outstanding user experience and make browsing on fundition.io really fun.

Also we had honestly no idea how many fantastic crowdfundings are already taking place there. People from all over the world are raising funds for their projects, whether with a social or an innovative purpuse.

Help us to give our project the ultimate boost!

Currently we've got tickets for at least 15 kids who're going to do a swim training for the very first time in their lives this summer.

Besides the social aspect, we want to use the opportunity to raise awareness for Steem in general.

As a future @steem-ambassador (starting from tomorrow) and member of the #promo-steem movement, promoting Steem is part of my DNA. - @surfermarly

During the event - which is supposedly taking place from the end of July until the end of August, we want to present all the involved Steem brands in the very best way possible. That's why we're already in contact with the representatives of promo-steem.com @starkerz and @cryptocurator as well as the fundition.io team and Steemit, Inc (for the approval of the Steemit logo integration).

Our partner - the Red Cross Lanzarote - will launch a press report about the event, and we want to have some shiny backdrops with logos on site when we invite the kids and their trainers for a photo call.

It's be a great moment to remember for all participants!

Obviously we won't touch the donations in order to finance promo material, which is why we'd be happy to see some big fat upvotes on this post that are especially destinated to finance the banners :-)

We're planning to print at least three beach flags with logos of those Steem brands that are involved.

The total cost for these three flags is €510 = $590 USD which equates to $472 Steem (28th of June 3pm UTC+1).

Once the representatives of those Steem apps have approved the design, we'll show you the mock-ups. Then you can get an idea of how everything will look like.

At the end of the summer's swim training, we'll be organizing a family&friends event in order to celebrate the kids' achievement and make them feel once more like little heroes.
