RE: Contribution is one of our basic human needs

Hello Mattheusggr! Psychodynamic is definitely a key to understand the human subjectivity and behavior. As you said we tend to be more isolated but it could probably be because of how people tend to compare to others now and kind of decrease their self esteem. Also I observed the birth of the digital social phobia that is isolating people now. The power of the screen is scary and fascinating at the same time, but fortunately for us there are ways to build a better future, to incentivize collaborations, and work on the self-esteem.
If you are interested in social behaviors/interactions you should definitely check on Erving Goffman work...completely interesting!

Great complement. I also curious about fear, and how it has been fed by public representatives in the name of power. In Brazil we are in a difficult situation, today we elect, and regardless of the result we live the extremes of radicalism. I also believe that we must build a better future, a reason to be here and trying to build a Brazilian community that supports the platform and that I believe that technology can greatly benefit our social inequality and political and social chaos. I have heard of but have not read the works of Erving Goffman, can you recommend some of his books to start with? I began to understand this technological moment from Manuel Castells with Network society. I study with references such as psychoanalysis, and fundamental and geral psychopathology. With much affinity with the French school that passes through Freud - Lacan., and now with exponents like C. Melman, M. Czermak and others. A pleasure to read and discuss topics like this one, and it gives me a lot of hope. Thanks

For Erving Goffman the very start should be The presentation of Self in Everyday Life =)
Yes in France usually at the psychology faculty we study Freud for like 3 years basically, and Lacan it should be like a semester and Jung maybe one small course. I've always regretted not learning more about Lacan and Jung. I usually work with psychoanalysis theories too, but nowadays I feel like Behavioral Therapies could be great too, so I'm starting to dig deeper into this subject hehe!
Ah right...Freud - Civilization and its discontents is also an awesome book.

Freud is incredible, this text is as current as it was when it was performed, I like to call him Sherlock Holmes from the unconscious. :)
Jung I read main texts, Lacan is difficult, but a huge breakthrough that only time will show. I still have a long walk to understand him better. Behavioral Therapies advanced a lot, I had some classes this year, here in Brazil has been much discussed and used and I refer many patients with excellent results. Thanks for the recommendation!
