My Baking Blunder

A gathering of our companions from chapel were arranging an excursion, and it seemed like fun.

The main issue was that circumstances had been somewhat tight for me, as I was a single parent with four kids. What did
I have that we could add to the outing?

At that point an idea struck. I could make a cherry pie! A companion had given me a quart of canned fruits that would make an extremely pleasant pie filling.

So I arranged the outside layer, thickened the fruits, and set up the pie together. When it left the broiler, it looked so great and the smell was brilliant.

At the excursion, my life partner, Stu, was the first to take a chomp of my pie. I saw an astounded look go over his face. At that point he started to release cherry pits. It had not jumped out at me somebody would cherries be able to without setting them first. How humiliating!

All things considered, he wedded me at any rate. What's more, the cherry pie has been an inside joke for as long as 48 years.
