Thinking how to spend your weekend doing recreational activities with a low budget?
Well, here's an idea for you to spend and enjoy the ordinary day making it more extra with friends and family.
I don't usually stay inside the house and spend all day sleeping except if I'm totally exhausted from work and school. So, every weekend which is my free day, I always want an Idea of how to spend the day and make it just fun.
Ofcourse, you have to base on the weather when picking up activity for the get-a-way weekend. Since yesterday didn't rain, We had decided to have a small picnic on a park facing the sea and it is such a wonderful spot to spend an afternoon with friends and family.
We went to Centennial Park which is located along the highway of Dalipuga, Iligan City Phillipines so it is so much accessible and hassle-free for us who just have a limited time. we chose the place for a small picnic for it has a nice view and a fresh air to offer. thus, it is not over-populated so everyone can enjoy the whole place. except, you can't go down and have a swimming to the beach because it is prohibited since they are preserving the beauty of the nature around it and I find it a good thing.
The place is so nice that some photographers chose this place to have a photoshoot. Of course, the picnic wouldn't be complete without some pictures so, grab the moment and have a pose!
Of course, to complete the picnic, We made barbecue and brought little chips with us. We had prepared our own simple grill area and proceeded to cook the barbeque. We already cooked our rice at home so it is ready to serve.
Since we are really in a budgeted activity, We didn't mind to bring disposable plates but rather chose to put all our foods in a leaf of banana and got a boodle fight! So much fun than having an individual plate.
Nice place, good breeze, fine foods, gloomy afternoon, fun friends and family can make your weekend special. You just have to be more creative in life and enjoy each second of it.
