The frustrating side of shopping malls
I thought I'd do some shopping before I go, since I'll be back in Fiji very soon. Even in the stores that we can call relatively simple brands, thin summer t-shirts are priced at $40-50, and very ordinary spring trousers are priced at $80-90.
In fact, the perception of price has disappeared and this is completely loaded on the end consumer. Even store employees are hesitant to say the price, and I'm sure it upsets them every second to see that a pair of trousers is almost half their salary.
