Tip fruit is a type of sweet exotic fruit. Other names of this are: Tipfoli, Tipipati, Tipatipi, Lukkuli, Pelagota, Palaya, Paalu, Jhikki, Palagota, Torfi, Paniala, Water Amla, Pinna, Piayagula, Behui etc. The English name of Indian plum or coffee plum and scientific name is Flacortia jangomas or Flacortia cataphracta. It is situated in the lowlands and 'Willow' tree in the rainy areas of the mountainous region.

It is widely cultivated in Southeast Asia and East Asia. In many areas, it is free from the fields of cultivation and it is born free. The original habit is not known, but it is thought that it is originated in Asia's tropical zone or India.
