To win the friendship or love
of others, humans instinctively
know that they must use pleasing
words, make compliments, offer gifts, flatter their vanity. In doing so, it is apparently not the superior nature of others that they address; they caress, they nourish their lower quality. How can we be surprised if a relationship born under such conditions continues in the midst of misunderstandings, tensions, and clashes? The desire to be loved, to have friends is undoubtedly sincere and commendable, but unfortunately, it is not realized under any conditions. If one wants to awaken in the beings a genuine, generous and durable love, one must take into account their superior nature and learn to address it.
To love a being is not to want to attract him to you under the pretext that you need him, but to seek how to enlighten and strengthen him continually. Such selfless love, which will be so beneficial to that being, will bring you everything you wan
